About
I’m a London based photographer. In my work I like to focus on people and there communities. I regularly exhibit in group or solo shows.
I am currently leading a group project with Image17 which aims to capture the pride and talent of the sporting community in Waltham Forest. My proposal named ‘Taking Part’ involves shooting 48 local sports groups and clubs, this has now been commissioned by LBWF and the body of thirteen photographers work including myself will tour the Borough in 2012 to celebrate sport in the Olympic year.
Publications
My work is regularly published world wide in advertising and editorial markets from my contract with Getty images. My commercial work was recently featured in Forum Magazine issue No 1/2010. Featured in Septembers Hotshoe blog showing work from the ‘Taking Part’ commission.
Awards & Commissions
- Commissioned by Getty Images to shoot images of community sport for their new Elite collection. Commissioned by LBWF to shoot 48 local sports groups and produce a body of 144 Images for 2012 with Image17. I am project leader having initiated the proposal to the council and already organized, curated and completed the first exhibition on the 9 month project.
- Honorable mention for Walthamstow Borough Bowls Club image from WIPI competition A decade of images June 2010.
- Honorable Mention for Women and Children first “The Mitchell’s” image from WIPI competition 2008 juried competition.
- Honorable mention for Superman from WIPI Turning silver juried competition 2006.
- Kodak one project one of three up and photographers chosen by Kodak to celebrate 30 years of the digital camera. Exhibiting in the Kodak one Gallery, Covent Garden, London 2005.
