In my personal work I like to focus on people and the community around me. I seek a common thread which will link the subjects and then start a journey meeting people to create a series of Images.
My Portrait of Claire cross was chosen for the ‘Portrait Salon 11′, as one of 75 selected from The National Portrait Galllery Portrait competition rejects. The work was shown at the Roxy bar on Borough High street in November 2011.
I am currently leading a group project with Image17 which aims to capture the pride and talent of the sporting community in Waltham Forest. My project named ‘Taking Part’ involves shooting 48 local sports groups and clubs, this has now been commissioned by LBWF.
