I am currently working on a project called The Makers about creative people who love their jobs. The work is exploring the relationship between craftspeople and their craft, I have produced a series of intimate portraits capturing the act of creating. Shooting on location at workshops and studios across London this series uncovers the individual, intricate and often personal process that is common across the many different crafts.

Previous portrait projects include ‘Taking Part’ this focused on London as a host city for 2012 Olympics. I lead this as a group project with ‘Image17’ which aimed to capture the pride and talent of the sporting community in Waltham Forest a key host London Borough. My proposal involved shooting 48 local sports groups and clubs, this was commissioned by the Borough council and the body of thirteen photographers work including myself toured the Borough in 2012 to celebrate sport in the Olympic year.
